Now that I know my mother in law is looking at our blog I will be posting more pictures of the kids! Here are some from our trip to Wisconsin. Papa is not feeling his best these days and Grammy has just broken her pelvic bone in a fall. Prayers are welcome for a speedy recovery and strength to navigate the journey that is aging.
The boys had a wonderful time seeing their grandparents, aunt and uncle, and cousins. Four days to drive there, a week in Eau Claire and Boulder Junction, then four days home. There's nothing like a road trip to bring people closer, that's what I like to say. Well, maybe I actually said something else, but who's counting.

Henry had his first riding lesson the other day and LOVED it! Here he is on Smokey Joe with his instructor, Jackie.

William turns 2!!

Father's Day 2011

Soothing to the soul.

My boys at Long Sands in York. The place where this all officially began almost 7 years ago, the place I used to visit as a little girl and find respite and calm.

Still one of my favorite places after all these years!

Everyone brings different gifts to the table.

This one, this one is like coming home.

The hot cup of tea on a cold winter's day, the first spring flowers, the return to New England after a trip to Manhattan.

With a dusting of freckles across his nose that I am certain the angels gifted before his journey here.
